When I travel (usually in our Travato), I always wished I had an altimeter. I tried to find one to buy but was disappointed. So I did what will come as no surprise to my friends, I decided to make one. This is a GPS altimeter, with a 2.8" TFT screen, Arduino microprocessor, a lipo battery, and a 3d printed case. It displays the current altitude, heading, and speed. It's been years since I've done any coding like this, I had fun clearing out the cobwebs and re-learning C++... I am *very* happy with the result!!!
NOTE: GPS altitude can be somewhat "variable" depending on how many satellites are visible at any given time. THIS NOT FOR AIRCRAFT USE!
Case color is usually grey, other colors *may* be available on request.
This one takes a bit longer to make and I don't stock all the (expensive) components; lead time can be up to 3 weeks.
