Nova Kool Fridge Latch Catch V2

When I designed the original Nova Kool latch catch, the intent was to make something that held the fridge door open enough to ventilate the fridge, but not turn the light on, while the Travato was parked. Since then I have had several requests from folks wanting something that would stay in place while the RV was being driven - never occurred to me that might be something people needed. So...

This is a catch for the Nova Kool fridge Latch that is designed to hold the door "ajar" (just slightly open) when the fridge is not being used, even while the RV is being driven. There were two things I had to change - one was a way to keep the metal tab from popping out of the catch. The slot for the latch is now a separate part that can rotate, allowing the latch to fit in the slot at pretty much any angle. The second change was to make the part a bit stronger, and add a ridge at the top to help it stay in place and not slide down.

This is a new product - there has been extensive design and development and testing with a few users but there still might be some variation in the fridge latch that doesn't quite fit...

Installation: hook the back on door first, then snap the curved front over the round door edge.

PLEASE READ: There is an option for which side of the door this mounts on. If the hinges on your fridge door are on the left, like mine in the pictures, you need a Right Side latch; if your hinges are on the right side of the door (less common), chose the Left Side latch. Please choose carefully!!!
